New ItsmirHosting Server
The server upgrade is complete!
We have this week finished migrating all our shared hosting accounts to a shiny, new server. The new server (called Selene 🙂 ) has the following hardware specifications:
Dual Intel Xeon E5420 (8 @ 2.5Ghz)
16GB RAM
4 x 450GB SAS Drives in RAID 10
2 x SSD Drives to power MySQL
Selene runs on Litespeed & Cloudlinux (as did the old server), however we are now utilising CageFS which will provide a stable and more secure environment for your website(s). We are also running with the MariaDB version of MySQL which, along with SSD’s to power it, should improve the performance of your databases.
